đźšś Meet Our Farmers: Stories from the Fields
Real People. Real Soil. Real Purity.
Behind every packet of rice, every drop of oil, and every spoonful of turmeric from Mahagauri Pure Organic Pvt. Ltd., there is a story — a story rooted in soil, nurtured by tradition, and brought to life by farmers who have dedicated their lives to the land.
These are not just suppliers. They are our partners. Our inspiration. Our extended family.
Today, we invite you to step into their world — to hear their voices, witness their resilience, and celebrate the hands that grow with honesty and heart.
🌾 1. Kiran Devi – The Keeper of Traditions
Location: Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh
Crop: Organic Rice & Lentils
Kiran Devi isn’t your average farmer. She’s a quiet powerhouse — a woman who inherited her love for the land from her grandmother. Years ago, Kiran switched from chemical-based farming to organic when she noticed a decline in soil fertility and her children’s health.
“When I started using natural compost again, the soil came back to life,” she shares, a glint of pride in her eyes. “The earth knows when you care for it.”
Today, her small farm yields beautiful harvests of rice and pulses that are completely chemical-free. She also trains other women in her village, creating a network of empowered female farmers who believe in organic living.
🌿 2. Rameshwar Singh – Farming Against the Grain
Location: Sehore, Madhya Pradesh
Crop: Organic Wheat & Mustard
For decades, Rameshwar’s family farmed conventionally. But after his father suffered from pesticide poisoning, Rameshwar began questioning everything. He attended an organic farming workshop, and there was no turning back.
“The first few years were tough,” he admits. “Yields were lower. People laughed at me. But now… my farm is flourishing, my health is better, and even the birds have returned.”
Mahagauri partnered with Rameshwar three years ago. Today, he not only produces some of the cleanest wheat in the region, but also mentors young farmers who want to switch to sustainable practices.
🍋 3. Meena & Harish Patel – The Farming Couple with a Cause
Location: Anand, Gujarat
Crop: Organic Lemons, Aloe Vera & Herbal Plants
Meena and Harish were once IT professionals living in the city. Burned out by fast-paced life and processed food, they moved back to their ancestral land and chose to take the organic route.
“We wanted to grow food we could trust — and share it with others,” Meena explains.
Their 5-acre plot now grows lemons, tulsi, aloe vera, and other healing herbs. Mahagauri sources several of its skincare and wellness ingredients from their farm. Their story is a beautiful reminder that going back to the land is also moving forward — with purpose.
🪔 4. Bhagwan Das – The Guardian of Indigenous Seeds
Location: Nanded, Maharashtra
Crop: Native Grains & Millets
Bhagwan Das is on a mission — to preserve India’s ancient grains. In a world driven by hybrid seeds and cash crops, he’s one of the last farmers in his region cultivating native varieties like kodo millet, barnyard millet, and black sesame.
“These seeds are our heritage,” he says. “They survived droughts, fed our ancestors, and need no chemicals.”
We proudly source indigenous grains from Bhagwan Das’s farm, ensuring that these nutrient-rich, climate-resilient crops reach your table — untouched and unchanged.
🌻 5. Radha Bai – Farming with Heart in the Hills
Location: Almora, Uttarakhand
Crop: Organic Herbs & Medicinal Plants
At over 60 years of age, Radha Bai still rises before dawn to tend to her herbal garden nestled in the Kumaon hills. She grows rhodiola, nettle, chamomile, and wild rose — all native, all organic, and all hand-harvested.
Her knowledge of traditional medicine is incredible, passed down orally through generations. When we asked why she continues this work despite the challenges of hilly terrain, she smiled and said, “This is my temple. The plants speak if you listen.”
Her herbs now find their way into Mahagauri’s wellness teas and skin care line, connecting age-old wisdom with modern living.
🤝 Partnership, Not Procurement
At Mahagauri, we don’t just buy from our farmers. We walk with them. We invest in training, provide organic certification support, and ensure timely payments at fair prices — always.
We conduct regular farm visits, hold organic fairs, and host community circles where farmers exchange knowledge, seeds, and encouragement.
Our commitment to farmers is not seasonal. It’s lifelong.
